Cuddle is a band that arises out of a need for space, healthy bodies and relational contact. The music that results from this environment is subtle and powerful, simple then complex, familiar and then singularly unusual. Colorful improvisations lead to pieces by Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, the Beatles, or perhaps an original in 5/4 or 7/4 time. The audience is encouraged to bring pillows and close friends to relax with and listen to music where the spaces between the notes are as potent as the notes themselves.

In a world where often too much is going on too quickly, Cuddle brings the listener to a place where sound is precious, and a wide range of musical events can be anticipated, fully explored and savored. Cuddle is an invitation to sink into an experience of the dance between sound and silence, body and mind, self and community.
